The world-renowned Italian Amalfi Coast has a unique geography, character and charm that makes it enduringly iconic. The azure colours of its waters collide with the rugged green terrain of its towering cliffs, which in turn contrast with the ever-changing skies above.

Ben Rousseau took inspiration from this timeless quality of light and colour to inform the design of the Tempus Positano. It showcases iridescent colours in a toughened, marble glass fascia which juxtaposes with the clean lines of the spun aluminium frame on which layers of 23 ct gold leaf have been applied through the process of stove enamelling. The state-of-the-art LED lighting system provides the timekeeping. Avoiding traditional numbers or hands, Tempus instead uses an innovative, building pattern of light to present the time, with 132 channels of illuminating segments.
